Music - Past and Present
The full South Chard Church experience of the 1950s, 60s and 70s would not be complete without a taste of the praise and worship! Stories of that time tell of the whole congregation singing and dancing without restraint, often for hours, in the presence of God. It was not unusual for a new person to comment afterwards on the fact that it only felt like 10 minutes. So strong was the presence of the Holy Spirit in the place, people just got lost! So, for those who remember those times, or for those who want to experience it for the first time we have committed some of those early recordings to CD. Of course the quality is not perfect, some of these recordings are nearly 50 years old. However with the use of digital enhancement we have been able to produce a great compilation of many of the songs exactly as they were sung. Be warned, this is a truly authentic experience!
The unique and fresh sound of One Way is only part of what they are about. Made up of four passionate young men of God, the band is committed to leading this generation in God centred, life changing worship.
